Over the past few weeks, we have been facing a series of increasingly frequent attacks on our servers. One of these, about a week ago, involved a ransomware incident. This was particularly concerning, as we had secured the IPMI, but it appears to have been the entry point. While we successfully restored services and recovered the data for customers who had backups, the situation has been quite distressing.
This year has been particularly challenging for us, following the collapse of Dediptah, issues with Hyperexpert, and the changes at the Los Angeles and Dallas data centers, where Dallas recently experienced a significant network outage. These events have taken a toll on our services, although we’ve maintained a 100% uptime for the past 360 days on our nodes in Amsterdam, Germany, and Kansas. Unfortunately, the KVM nodes in Dallas and Los Angeles have encountered persistent issues.
We have strengthened our security, applied numerous updates, and continue to work diligently to improve the situation. As a small company with 5 years of experience in the industry, this year has been one of the most difficult for us. While we’ve grown by offering dedicated servers, our VPS services have been impacted by these challenges. Nonetheless, we remain committed to our goal for the upcoming year: enhancing our servers in Europe, unifying our services, and upgrading to more modern infrastructure.
